The Board of Directors conducts an annual review of the chief executive officer’s compensation package, including salary and other benefits, to ensure that it is fair and reasonable. The board members conduct comparative research into compensation and duties of CEOs of comparable nonprofit organizations and use this data to inform their determination. The CEO is not party to the determination process.
