Like our organization, our Board of Directors is a diverse and vibrant body. Each of our Board members is a leader in the field he represents. Together, they keep Kars4Kids focused on its mission and what is needed to achieve it. The Board is the leading force behind our organization's success at bringing educational opportunities to our children.


Jeffrey Rubin

Jeff's multi-faceted background in investment, real estate development, education and youth counseling makes him an ideal member of Kars4kids' Board. Jeff currently manages J and N Invest, LLC, a successful investment fund. Previously, he worked as a real estate developer in Lakewood, New Jersey, where he raised his family. Following his graduation from Beth Medrash Govoha, a post-graduate university, Jeff headed an institute for advanced study of the Talmud. Jeff also has many years of volunteer experience running a program for at-risk teens.


Ron Coleman
The leading expert in the laws of intellectual property and trademark law and practice in professional liability litigation, Ronald D. Coleman brings years of legal experience to the Kars4Kids Board of Directors. His sharp and witty humor has brought widespread attention to Ron's legal blog, Likelihood of Confusion, and brought him many followers on social media. A partner at Archer & Greiner P.C., Ron represents clients of every size in state and federal courts, bench and jury trials, the TTAB and in arbitrations and mediations throughout the country. A graduate of Princeton University, he received his JD from Northwestern University School of Law. Ron lives in Clifton, NJ with his family.


Joseph E. Weinberger, CPA

Joseph is a partner at Loeb & Tropper, a specialized professional services firm providing comprehensive audit, tax and consulting services to the health care, not-for-profit and special needs industries.  Joseph’s extensive experience providing both audit and consulting services to nonprofit organizations makes him uniquely qualified to serve as a member of JOY’s Board of Directors. Joseph’s areas of expertise include auditing, accounting and technical issues, pensions and IRS Form 990s. Joseph is professionally affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). 


Yisachar B. Broyde

Yisachar is a marketing and fundraising professional with over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising. Yisachar's innovative ideas in web-marketing to donors benefited many charitable organizations, including Kars4kids. Besides for his current position as coordinator of the annual fundraising event for a public nonprofit outreach organization, Yisachar manages a biannual nonprofit clothing sale. Yisachar also has experience in education, as a teacher of seventh and eighth grade boys. He lives in Lakewood, NJ with his wife, Chaya and their four children.


Chaim Reichman

With 25 years of volunteer experience behind him and eight children of his own, Chaim is our expert on youth and volunteerism. Chaim has been giving back to the community as a volunteer mentor and tutor since he was a sophomore in high school. Chaim has worn many hats in his positions as fundraiser, program coordinator, and learning director. He has also worked in the field of special education. Chaim holds a Masters degree in Talmudic Law from Beth Medrash Govoha.


Reuven Kanarek

Reuven brings extensive professional experience in the school administration field to Kars4kids'

Board. As the administrator of a highly-regarded network of schools in Lakewood, New Jersey, with over 3,000 students from Pre-K through 12th grade, Reuven is intimately familiar with the challenges and successes of running a school. A graduate of MTJ in New York, Reuven lives in New Jersey with his wife and children.


Shimshon Bandman

A graduate of the Talmudical Seminary of Denver, Shimshon Bandman brings many years of professional experience and expertise to the JOY Board of Directors. Specializing in land use law, Shimshon has worked in the field of property management and development since 1996. In the nonprofit sector, Shimshon utilized his skills as project coordinator of JEP (Jewish Education Project) of Central New Jersey. He also volunteers his business skills in fundraising for his alma mater. Shimshon's varied experience even includes several years in the classroom as a teacher of math and English.
